I started this project 

after attending a meeting at a local church in Hyde Park. Listening to parents and teachers describe what would happen to them and their families if the city closed 50 elementary schools, I decided to document this journey.  

This is a series of photos of rallies downtown, trips to Springfield, meetings at local schools and finally schools closing.
